A system for advertising on tablets in taxis: campaign administration, an app for the tablets and a public website in four languages.
What we built
AutoPlakáty sells advertising on cars and on tablets inside taxis. For this service we built two things: the public website and the system that runs the advertising on the tablets.
The public website
The website www.autoplakaty.cz presents both services, vehicle wraps and taxi tablet advertising, and collects enquiries through a form. It runs in Czech, English, Russian and German, and has a blog and structured data for search engines.
The tablet system
The larger part of the project is a custom-built system for advertising on tablets in vehicles. It has three parts:
- An admin panel behind a login: a media library, content sets, campaigns with broadcast periods, targeting rules, a tablet overview, alerts and playback statistics.
- An app for the tablets (Android, kiosk mode): it plays videos and images full screen. It stores the content, so it keeps playing without a connection, and sends the playback records once it is back online. A new tablet is set up by scanning a QR code, and app updates are rolled out remotely.
- Background services: converting videos and images into a format for the tablets, statistics summaries and outage monitoring.
Advertisers have their own portal with an overview of their campaigns and report exports to CSV and PDF. For campaigns, the system creates trackable QR links on a short domain.
The client's team uses the admin panel on its own: it uploads ads, builds campaigns, adds tablets and rolls out updates. We delivered a user guide for the system in English and Russian.

Publishing or changing is a click in the administration, not a new version of the website.
On our side, we maintain operations — hosting, databases with backups, and email distribution. It's a paid service, and clients choose what they need from it.
What do you ask about a similar project

- How much does such a project cost?
The price depends on the scope, not on a per-item price list. Websites start at CZK 39,000. For web applications, the range is intentionally broad — a small internal tool starts at CZK 5,000, a larger system at CZK 149,000, because these are not comparable things. Mobile applications start at CZK 199,000. We provide a specific amount once we know what the project should do.
Pricing for projects and operations- Who manages the content after handover?
Client. Everything is managed through the administration at cms.sitely.cz, where the client handles the content independently and simultaneously views their website's traffic. Integration with Search Console, Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads is part of this administration. Publishing or making changes requires just a click in the administration, not a new website version.
- What remains up to you?
Operation. Hosting, domain, and certificate from CZK 290 per month, database and daily backups from CZK 290 per month, mailing from CZK 190 per month, administration CZK 490 per month. It's a paid service, and the client selects only what they need. Everything together starts at CZK 1,290 per month.
- How is such a requirement reached?
It starts with a design. The design is drawn, presented, and revised repeatedly until it fits—review cycles are included at no extra cost, as long as the original brief remains unchanged, and we don't charge for them. Work begins only after the design has been approved. If the scope changes during the process, this is quoted separately, and the client is informed in advance.
- Can we have our existing website redesigned?
Yes, it's one of the two ways you can approach us. Just send the address of your current website and we'll take a look at it. We'll tell you what can be kept, what needs to be rebuilt, and what would be resolved by doing so. Only then do you decide.
